When considering sponsoring a child, please think about the length of commitment you are looking to take on. The younger the child, the longer the commitment as we encourage sponsors to intend to sponsor a child at least to the end of secondary school.There are youths in Uganda at all different levels from pre-primary all the way through to university/courses.

Enable a child to be in boarding at a good private school in Uganda.

There are SO many options. The commitment is as long or as short as you can manage. We have students at all levels, those just starting nursery and others who are doing vocational courses or needing just a few years of study to complete. But we also rely on non specific donations, which contribute to the general charity pool and allow us to sponsor more children collectively.

As a small charity we make sure every penny counts. We don’t have any salaries being funded by the funds contributed by sponsors and every coin goes towards the youths we support.

Don’t worry! You are not alone. We have a pool of people who are looking for sponsorship buddies! Some kids are sponsored by as many as 4 different sponsors.

No. We have several payment options. Some sponsors pay monthly, others pay termly and some choose to pay at once. We are flexible to your payment preference!

We try to keep the communication channels open and friendly. Typically this becomes easier as the child grows older and perhaps has access to a phone in the holidays where they can talk to their sponsors directly, if both parties agree. When the kids are younger, it is largely communicating via letters or emails and then we always send photos and reports when we get a chance.

Yes. It’s possible. Those arrangements can be made and the charity can help you where possible to plan an itinerary and organise for you to see the child you sponsor.
